Job Title: Data Science Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Manager to join our team at Sia Partners. As a Data Science Manager, you will be responsible for leading data science projects, applying data science techniques to complex marketing problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead data science projects, working across multiple clients in the US.
  • Apply data science techniques to complex marketing problems, including customer segmentation, predictive modeling, and personalized marketing.
  • Collaborate with Sia Partners' US Data Science Lead, Business Units teams, and Data Science centers from other locations to develop proposals for potential opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Sia Partners' Data Science offering to existing clients.
  • Build and maintain external professional peer networks to drive new revenue opportunities.
  • Support marketing campaigns, contribute to external positioning across social networks, work on blogs, and develop Sia Partners' assets, including methodologies and tools.
  • Lead recruitment initiatives for the Data Science team, advise on market positioning, and support the operational and career management of data science consultants.
  • Mentor colleagues in performance and development, facilitate learning, and enhance the team's technical knowledge and consulting skills.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in applying data science solutions to marketing problems, particularly in customer segmentation, predictive modeling, and personalized marketing.
  • Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Expertise in Python, R, SQL, cloud-based infrastructures (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure), and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
  • Excellent skills to convey complex technical information in simple terms to various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage projects from conception to completion within tight deadlines.
  • Deep understanding of marketing challenges and familiarity with sectors such as luxury, FMCG, energy, banking, and insurance.

New York compensation for this role is between $128,000 and $180,000 per year. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and market location.
