Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and infants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to patients in the NICU, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and airway management.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Conduct respiratory assessments and monitor patient progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) in the state of Virginia.
• 2 years of experience in the NICU or PICU setting.
• BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
