Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly oversee all personnel within the department, executing supervisory duties in alignment with organizational policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include training, planning, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, providing recognition and discipline, resolving conflicts, team building, coaching, and setting a standard for exemplary behavior and performance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of two years of prior supervisory experience preferred.

Preferred Skills

Experience in the corrugated industry is advantageous.

Language Proficiency

Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operational instructions, and procedural manuals. Capable of writing routine reports and effectively communicating with groups of employees.

Mathematical Skills

Proficient in reading a tape measure accurately and calculating figures such as percentages and measurements.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions and address problems involving multiple variables.

Technical Skills

Must possess knowledge of equipment design and operational capabilities, cost management, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Certificates and Licenses

May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.

Physical Demands

This position requires regular standing, walking, and communication. Frequent use of hands for handling and reaching is necessary, along with the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Work Environment

Employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, humid conditions, and loud noise levels.

Leadership Attributes

Strong time management and crisis management skills are essential, along with the ability to teach and motivate team members effectively.

Performance Metrics

Supervisor performance will be evaluated based on operating standards, personal growth, employee relations, and creativity in advancing business operations.
