Role Overview

The Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Architect is instrumental in safeguarding the security, compliance, and robustness of cloud infrastructures, emphasizing the support of Policy as Code (PaC) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.

This position entails the implementation of security measures, employing security tools for Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), and collaborating with security advocates among application developers.

As a technical mentor, you will also guide junior engineers in their professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security protocols for cloud platforms (3rd Party, Open Source, native), particularly focusing on Azure and AWS.

• Develop PaC and IaC while ensuring security policies and procedures align with industry-standard frameworks such as CIS and NIST.

• Utilize and implement CSPM tools like Wiz and Defender to continuously evaluate, monitor, and enforce security measures.

• Collaborate closely with security advocates across various business units, offering guidance and support tailored to their specific security requirements.

• Contribute to the cloud security roadmap to enhance cloud security practices further.

• Conduct regular security evaluations, audits, and reviews of cloud configurations.

• Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective measures.

• Mentor junior team members in their professional growth.

Required Skills

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in public cloud as an engineer or developer.

• At least 5 years of experience as an Engineer, Developer, or Architect in Information Technology, preferably in Cybersecurity.

• Proficiency in software development (Python, GOLang, Java, etc.) is advantageous.

• Strong grasp of cloud security principles and the integration of security within development workflows.


• Familiarity with at least 2-3 security services from cloud providers such as Azure (e.g., Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault) and AWS (e.g., Config, CloudTrail, Macie, etc.).



• Extensive hands-on experience in codifying PaC (e.g., Rego) and utilizing IaC provisioning tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM).

• Familiarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD processes and technologies (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitHub Package Repository).

• Experience with privileged access management and identity systems (e.g., Azure Entra, Okta, Ping) is a plus.

• Hands-on experience with integrated testing tools.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Desired certifications include Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, CISSP, and CCSP.
