Primary Duties

  • Welcome patients as they arrive at the facility
  • Facilitate the check-in and check-out process for patients
  • Gather and update demographic information for new patients
  • Process co-payments and ensure immediate posting of payments
  • Aid in managing medical records, including scanning and data entry tasks
  • Provide patients with updates on wait times and their status
  • Oversee the waiting area to maintain patient satisfaction and ensure prompt service
  • Handle incoming phone calls and manage a high volume of appointment scheduling and rescheduling

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a medical front office setting is preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED (physical documentation required)
  • Experience in customer service or as a receptionist
