Position Overview:
The ILI Superintendent II is tasked with planning and supervising inspection operations. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership capabilities and possess exceptional communication skills, enabling them to effectively manage projects and achieve desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety in all operational tasks and procedures.
- Assess and analyze pipeline questionnaires, construction plans, and as-built documentation for upcoming projects, implementing necessary modifications to minimize risks and ensure successful execution.
- Oversee the assembly and final preparation of the ILI equipment before deployment to the job site.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control evaluations on ILI tool assembly and testing.
- Lead project management efforts, including pre-job planning and maintaining communication with clients throughout the ILI process, addressing logistical needs.
- Act as the primary on-site representative for Entegra, engaging with clients regarding job execution, safety measures, scheduling, operations, and tool performance.
- Develop, document, and communicate safety analysis plans for each project, facilitating tailgate safety discussions.
- Complete all necessary documentation and reporting upon job completion.
- Authorize time sheets and expense reports for the ILI team.
- Provide training to ILI crew members on all operational aspects.
- Identify opportunities for ongoing improvement and cost efficiency.
- Perform additional assigned tasks as required.
- Embrace Operational Excellence by actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives, consistently striving to meet both individual and team objectives.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ILI.
- ASNT ILI-PQ Tool Operator Level I certification or higher.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
- Understanding of magnetic flux leakage principles and applications.
- Knowledge of pipeline liquid and gas hydraulics.
- Comprehension of pipeline operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively based on project requirements.
- Must pass DOT Drug and Alcohol Test.
- Background verification required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Possession of a passport or ability to obtain one.
- Must have or be able to acquire a TWIC card.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% within the U.S., with potential for international travel.
- Fieldwork may necessitate extended hours, including early starts and late finishes.
- Capability to routinely lift and carry 50 lbs throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift 100 lbs to waist height multiple times during the workday.
- Work environment may include extreme conditions such as heat, cold, and wetness.
- Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Associate's degree or Technical degree in Electronics.
