Millwright Superintendent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Superintendent to join our team at Kiewit Power Constructors. As a Millwright Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising craft workers and ensuring the safe and efficient installation of rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and execute field operations to ensure compliance with erection manuals and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with other superintendents and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, and inform project and corporate management as necessary.
• Ensure project rules, procedures, and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of work experience in precision millwright scopes of work.
• Previous knowledge or experience in rotating equipment installation.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Passion for safety and ability to help ensure that nobody gets hurt.
• Understanding and following of oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
