Job Opportunity

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in San Martin, CA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech services to students in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a California SLP license, and prior experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement speech services following frameworks of student IEPs (Individualized Education Plans), state curriculum, or mon core standards.
  2. Provide direct individual and/or group therapy sessions.
  3. Offer clinical supervision to 1-2 Speech and Language Assistants.
  4. Administer speech and language evaluations as needed.
  5. Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings.
  6. Conduct and chair annual review meetings for students receiving speech/language services.
  7. Collaborate with teachers and other therapeutic staff to provide interdisciplinary programming.
  8. Consult with classroom staff to support the implementation of student goals.
  9. Collect, analyze, and maintain data on student progress.
  10. Conduct thorough evaluations for quarterly progress reports, annual assessments, and reevaluations.
  11. Plan daily work schedule to meet direct service minutes requirements and utilize indirect time according to district guidelines.
  12. Maintain ongoing communication with parents and encourage family involvement in student therapy.
  13. Propose and implement interventions or supports as needed, such as feeding strategies or AAC use, depending on student needs.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • California SLP license
  • Prior experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations
