Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, categorize, and visually assess the condition of all linens before and after laundering.
  • Sort linens and apply appropriate treatments for stains.
  • Load laundry machines and incorporate necessary cleaning agents.
  • Sort, fold, and hang freshly laundered linens.
  • Conduct inventory checks of linens and cleaning supplies.
  • Maintain laundry equipment and report any maintenance requirements to management.

Qualifications

  • Ability to engage in conversations with residents.
  • Demonstrated patience and compassion towards residents.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods during shifts.
  • Must be up-to-date on immunizations.
  • Reliability is essential.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
