About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Developmental Therapist to join our team at Soar Autism Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with autism and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized developmental plans for children with autism, utilizing the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and Soar's care model.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement therapy plans, ensuring seamless continuity of care for families.
  • Provide 1:1 therapy sessions, engaging children in play-based routines to teach new skills and promote comprehensive growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, offering regular insights on their child's progress and providing guidance rooted in best child care practices.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in child development and autism care.

Requirements
  • Genuine interest and prior experience in child care roles such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions, or similar or related educational experiences (e.g. bachelors in psychology or child development).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for building connections with young children and their families.
