Position Overview: Procurement and Estimation Specialist

We are in search of a proactive and adept individual for a versatile role centered on procurement,

purchasing, and cost estimation. This position is vital to our operations, overseeing procurement

activities and providing accurate project cost assessments. Key responsibilities include sourcing

materials, negotiating vendor agreements, ensuring timely product delivery, and upholding

standards of cost-effectiveness and quality. You will work closely with our internal teams and

suppliers to guarantee prompt material availability and precise project quotations, contributing to

our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement:

  • Formulate and implement strategic procurement plans to fulfill company material requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance vendor relationships, managing supplier performance to optimize delivery
  • times and reduce costs.
  • Establish new vendor partnerships to secure advantageous terms and pricing while ensuring project
  • success.
  • Execute necessary purchases for projects and operational needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production leadership to prevent shortages and
  • ensure a seamless workflow.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings and new
  • materials.
  • Align procurement strategies with business objectives, including inventory management and bulk
  • ordering.
  • Generate purchase orders and assist in invoice reconciliation with the receiving department and
  • accounts payable.
  • Coordinate with accounts payable/receivable regarding vendor and client transactions.
  • Oversee monthly credit card transaction reconciliations.
  • Manage logistics to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
  • Develop relationships with international suppliers for project pricing.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Fabrication & Creative) to ensure project success in
  • terms of timelines, budgets, and finishes.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, vendor performance, and market changes to enhance decision-making
  • and continuous improvement.

Estimating:

  • Review project specifications and requirements to deliver precise cost estimates for current and
  • upcoming projects.
  • Work alongside Operations, Creative, Engineering, and Production teams to comprehend project
  • scope and develop accurate material and labor estimates.
  • Utilize historical data to ensure competitive and profitable bidding.
  • Prepare and submit estimates in a timely manner.
