About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Senior Specialist to join our team at Comerica Incorporated. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for executing the sourcing processes for medium/high complex projects, selecting standard products/services, and driving efficiency, solving business problems, achieving speed to market, managing risk, ensuring compliance, managing demand, and limiting total cost of ownership as it relates to third-party spend for products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for executing multiple sourcing projects through cross-functional collaboration and a disciplined approach to project management that enables consistent execution of the sourcing process.
  • Presents analysis around cost savings opportunities to Senior Management for consideration; responsible for tracking and reporting of spend and benefit (value/savings).
  • Develops and negotiates commercial terms and strategies.
  • Utilizes e-Procurement systems to facilitate sourcing, contracting, and purchasing activities.
  • Conducts market research and analyzes relevant data (benchmarking, spend, contracts) to support execution of supplier/sourcing strategies.
