Rutgers University is seeking a highly qualified Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our faculty in the General Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based Ob/Gyn care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, teaching medical students and residents, and contributing to the department's academic and administrative activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings, including coverage of RWJUH L&D, OR, and ED.
- Teach and mentor medical students and residents in the obstetrics and gynecology department.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in departmental and university-wide committees and activities.
- Stay current with the latest advances in obstetrics and gynecology and incorporate them into clinical practice and teaching.
- Completion of a board-accredited training program in General Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Board certification or eligibility in General Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong commitment to teaching and academic excellence.
The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the existing academic, administrative, and clinical staff at Rutgers University. The position requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care, teaching, and service to the department and the university.
