Elearning Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Elearning Developer to support our growing course list in the Environment, Health and Safety, Human Resources, and Leadership and Development content teams.

• Design, develop, and implement engaging and interactive eLearning content using Articulate Storyline and other design and development tools.
• Collaborate with various sponsors, including Editorial staff and Learning & Development colleagues, to leverage adult learning theories, instructional design principles, and user experience best practices.
• Maintain existing courses, incorporating user experience enhancements, applying instructional design best practices, and applying updates as applicable to art, graphics, learning treatments, and subject matter to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Provide input for supplemental material templates and overarching designs, ensuring accuracy relative to subject matter and adherence to standards through peer reviews.

• Strong experience with eLearning course-building tools, specifically Articulate Storyline (preferred) or similar.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple projects in a demanding environment.
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to efficiently acquire new skills based on emerging technologies.
• Experience using audio/video editor software.
• Technically proficient and possess creative and intuitive problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge and practical application of adult learning principles to products to facilitate learning and enhance user experience.
• Proficient in instructional design theories and best practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, as well as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.

• Bachelor's Degree (Instructional Design, Learning and Development, Education, or similar) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
