We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Engineer to join our team at American Systems. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale enterprise dataflow platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop data analytics solutions using cutting-edge technologies such as Spark ML, Splunk, and Elastic Search.
- Provide expert-level knowledge and experience in Big Data and Cloud technologies, including AWS Glue, Logstream, and Hadoop.
- Architect and deploy Person-Centric Services, including the use of AI/ML technologies.
- Lead efforts to modernize a portfolio of major legacy applications leveraging the cloud, DevSecOps, and industry best practices.
- Architect and implement change-data-capture (CDC) replication for unique disparate datasets of records into Spark ML for deduplication and graph theory entity/identity grouping.
- Develop risk patterns through the Security Event Management framework to enable Agency ability to perform predictive analysis using billions of events per month.
- Minimum of 7 years of recent and relevant experience in data analytics and engineering.
- Strong understanding of programming languages, data analytics, machine learning (ML/AI), DevSecOps, Cloud, and Big Data.
- Technical skills in JavaScript, Ansible, SQL, Java,.Net, Python, and data technologies such as Oracle, Cassandra, Elastic Search, Aurora, NiFi, LogStream, Splunk, Hadoop, and Tensorflow.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies such as AWS, Docker, Jira, VMware vCenter/vRealize, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Preferred certification: AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
- Previous Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel clearance preferred but not required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across large groups of people at multiple levels.
