Job Title: Wholesale Insurance Broker - Strategic Account Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Wholesale Insurance Broker - Strategic Account Manager to join our team at USG Insurance Services, Inc. As a Wholesale Insurance Broker - Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and agents to provide efficient service and strategic market placement for commercial accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work with brokers to develop efficient service and strategic market placement for commercial accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.
* Apply expertise in commercial insurance coverages to review submissions from retail brokers, assessing exposures and necessary coverage.
* Evaluate risk exposures and coverage needs from broker submissions, using independent judgment to strategically place risks with the best carriers.
* Identify appropriate insurance markets for quote requests, obtain quotes, and manage the placement process in line with broker and market agreements.
* Analyze and negotiate the best terms for coverage and pricing, and clearly explain quote details to brokers to facilitate binding decisions.
* Drive lead generation through outbound calls, assess online and phone quote activities, and identify opportunities for business growth.
* Collaborate with retail agencies and brokerages, serving as a key intermediary between insurance markets and retail brokers, and addressing their needs.
* Ensure thorough account management by attaching and maintaining all required documents for each policy and account.
* Maintain positive working relationships with current agents and colleagues.
* Keep up-to-date with industry trends and sales strategies through regular participation in workshops, seminars, literature reviews, and continuing education.

Requirements:

* Minimum 4 years of experience in property and casualty insurance
* Proven experience in account management and marketing
* Current Property & Casualty (P&C) License is mandatory
* Ability to independently review information, make decisions, and manage time effectively with minimal supervision
* Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
* Effective in sales, customer service, and team building
* Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office
* Willingness to travel occasionally, including overnight trips
