- Order Evaluation: Evaluate, process, and monitor physician orders for patient medications, ensuring appropriateness and safety.
- Drug Information: Serve as a reliable source of drug information for healthcare professionals and patients, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate computer records and patient profiles, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Inventory Maintenance: Assist in managing drug inventory, including ordering, stocking, and reconciling medications.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance pharmacy services and patient outcomes.
- Supervision: Direct and support Pharmacy Technicians in their daily tasks, ensuring effective and efficient operations within the pharmacy.
- Graduate of a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council of Pharmacy Education and eligible for pharmacy licensure in Tennessee.
- Hospital pharmacy practice experience or a Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $89.50 per hour for the role of Clinical Staff Pharmacist- Outpatient.
