Key Responsibilities
  • Operate emergency medical vehicles and respond to emergency situations.
  • Evaluate patient conditions to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Provide emergency medical treatment, including administering medications and performing invasive procedures.
  • Communicate patient data and condition to medical personnel at emergency treatment facilities.
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 30 days of employment.
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Emergency Medical Paramedic certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • EVOC Emergency Vehicle Operations Course certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Associate degree or vocational school graduate.
