BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Takoma Park, Maryland.

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and physician orders.
  • Continuously assess and revise treatment plans to ensure optimal client outcomes.
  • Educate and instruct clients, family members, or caregivers on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote independent living.
  • Accurately document client care management and services provided.

Requirements:

  • Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland.
  • Certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association or equivalent education and experience.
  • Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
