Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in the Intermediate Care Unit
- Monitor and manage conditions that fall between general care and intensive care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Current RN license to practice in the State of Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire
- One year of RN acute hospital critical care experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Associate's degree in Nursing, BSN preferred
