Job Title: Food Service Site Supervisor

LPR International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Site Supervisor to join our team in Bethesda, MD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of contract workers, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and nutrition.
  • Develop and implement effective schedules, resource allocation, and work processes to meet contract requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Food Service Supervisor to plan and execute menu development, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on food safety, sanitation, and customer service best practices.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of food safety inspections, inventory, and staff performance.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and clients to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree in food management may be substituted for 5 years of management experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a large, high-volume cafeteria-style/multi-food service operation.
  • Current sanitation certificate (within 4 years).
  • Thorough knowledge of food preparation principles, including recipe development and menu planning.
  • Basic knowledge of diet and nutrition.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, or uncomfortable areas.
  • Ability to handle moderate noise typical of a cafeteria setting.
  • Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.
