Job Summary

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team in Tucson. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the transportation department, ensuring the efficient movement of donations and store deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the training and supervision of Production Assistants/Drivers and beneficiaries assigned to the transportation department.
  • Ensure that donations are picked up and store deliveries are made with maximum efficiency.
  • Establish and ensure follow-through on preventative maintenance schedules for all ARC vehicles.
  • Assure all repairs are reported to and approved by Administrator and completed in a timely fashion.
  • Review Smartdrive reports each morning, providing coaching and disciplinary action as necessary.
  • Ensure safety measures are established and maintained by ARC policy and government regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience involving supervision and production scheduling.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
