Legal Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Legal Drafter to join our team. This role involves drafting and reviewing complex legal documents, conducting research to ensure compliance with federal, state, and IRS tax laws, and collaborating with team members to provide exceptional client service.

• Draft and review sophisticated legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
• Conduct thorough research to ensure documents meet relevant laws and regulations
• Review client estate information, structure, and asset documentation to ensure accuracy
• Update legal documents as needed to reflect changes in client needs and objectives
• Maintain accurate records of document history on our internal client management system
• Enter data accurately into applicable documents and forms
• Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive estate planning and administration services
• Prepare business entities, operating documents, and business audits as part of estate planning and asset protection strategies

• 4+ years of experience in writing, editing, legal, finance, or business
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Effective time management and organization to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team, maintain confidentiality, and implement coaching, training, and feedback
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat
• Availability to work onsite Monday to Friday from 8:25 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Familiarity with estate planning documents and laws
• Knowledge of real estate, financial investments, and business structures
• Leadership experience

• Competitive salary range: $48,000 - $65,000+ DOE
