About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Web3 Communications Strategist to lead our media relations efforts and drive strategic communications initiatives for Aptos.

  3. Content Creation and Pitching: Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and presentations to promote Aptos' technology, partnerships, and milestones.
  4. Media Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and challenges for media engagement.
  5. Crisis Communications and Media Inquiries: Manage crisis communication and respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Media Briefings and Interviews: Organize and coordinate media briefings and interviews.
  7. Collaboration and Messaging: Work closely with the marketing and leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
  8. Performance Measurement and Reporting: Measure and report on the effectiveness of media relations campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  2. Web3 knowledge and experience required.
  3. 7-10 years of experience in media relations or public relations, preferably in the blockchain, technology, or fintech sectors.
  4. Strong network of media contacts and proven track record of securing coverage in top-tier outlets.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex blockchain concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decision-making.
