Job Title: DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at stakefish. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our blockchain infrastructure, ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure and reliable infrastructure to monitor, detect, and mitigate performance and security issues
  • Manage Linux servers, including routine, proactive daily management of system health, stability, and availability
  • Create and maintain system procedural and technical documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with peer-to-peer networking security best practices and implement them in our systems
  • Develop and maintain threat models and risk assessments for all systems we operate
Requirements:
  • Experience as a DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure engineer
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, GoLang, Bash, or Javascript
  • Experience managing server infrastructures with high availability requirements
  • Design and implementation of secure networks, systems, and application architectures
  • Setup and maintenance of software in both data centers and cloud environments
  • Deep understanding of sockets, full networking stack, and Linux security
  • Knowledge of building automation and CI/CD processes and tools
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud deployment technologies
  • Flexibility, teamwork, and ability to take charge and get things done despite ambiguity
Nice to Have:
  • Understanding of the blockchain space and blockchain technology
  • Knowledge of cryptography and security best practices
  • Contributions to open-source communities
