Job Summary:

Fincantieri Marinette Marine, a Fincantieri Marine Group Company, is a progressive shipyard specializing in building ships for the United States Navy. We are seeking a skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team in Marinette, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Sr. Purchasing and Compliance Manager and team members administratively, including typing, file maintenance, and basic project coordination.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with Purchasing Department associates and others involved in following Purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Review contracts, contract amendments, changes, and in and outgoing correspondence to ensure CPSR compliance.
  • Ability to type or create letters, reports, and project documentation in a final format from rough notes or drafts.
  • Update and maintain all department logs, files, and databases.
  • Maintain close contact with Director of Purchasing Compliance or designee to maintain, preserve and enhance the company's image with its customers.
  • Monitor and audit contract requirements to ensure company and counterparty compliance with contractual obligations and CPSR.
  • Support FMM's interactions with its customers in all matters with a high level of competence, professionalism, integrity, and credibility.
  • Daily communications are required with Program Contracting Officers and their designated representatives.
  • Must abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Tracks systemic problems in the technical execution of acquisition process and functioning as subject matter expert and technical authority responsible for conducting comprehensive reviews of contracting work products.

Requirements:
  • Ability to type or create letters, reports, and project documentation in a final format from rough notes or drafts.
