We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Golden Entertainment. As a Security Officer - Bike Patrol, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for our guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and respond to security incidents.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests and employees, responding to their questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform a variety of tasks related to security, including guarding transfers of money and tokens, completing incident reports, and controlling traffic flow.
- Assist guests with locating lost vehicles and maintain a high level of guest service in a timely manner.
- Investigate auto accidents and secure the operations office during in-custody situations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- At least one year of law enforcement, military, or EMT experience highly preferred.
- Excellent guest service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to obtain a CCW within 6 months of employment.
- Proven experience using sound judgment and making appropriate decisions during challenging situations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft operating system and applications preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and communicate effectively in English.
- Able to demonstrate proficiency with authorized handgun and qualify on the range every six months.
- Proven experience providing high-level guest service and ability to complete mandatory training courses and certifications.
- At least 21 years of age and high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
- Indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to extreme temperatures, bright flashing lights, and emergency situations.
- Ability to ride a bicycle for extended periods and jog or run as situations dictate.
- Ability to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and stairs.
- Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone.
