Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing exceptional patient care and support in a hospital setting. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general nursing care to patients, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and vital sign monitoring.
  • Assist licensed nursing staff during treatment and examination of patients.
  • Observe patients, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify nursing staff of patient's condition and reactions to drugs/treatments.
  • Participate in patient discharge planning and provide support to patients and families during the transition process.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the nursing team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalency.
  • An active Nebraska Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential.
  • One (1) year of hospital experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
