Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing
  • Assist residents with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements as needed
  • Monitor vital signs and provide psychosocial support to residents
  • Assist residents with transfers, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques and equipment
  • Document resident care and behaviors according to Society policy and procedure

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program
  • Ability to communicate and comprehend, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks and meet requirements for in-services, training, and meeting attendance
  • Ability to use electronic medical records for documentation
