Job Summary

This position is responsible for the administration, coordination, and reporting requirements for designated approved clinical research at Childrens Hospital of The Kings Daughters. The Clinical Study Project Manager will work under the supervision of the department manager and responsible research investigator(s) to ensure compliance with protocol and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assure and maintain professional standards for clinical practices in conducting clinical investigations.
  • Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of federal regulations and guidance documents required for clinical trials and human subject protection.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Current RN license required or other licensed medical provider working under MD supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Knowledge of clinical research processes, procedures, and regulations acquired through progressive experience in supporting or performing clinical research.
  • 3-5 years clinical research experience preferred.
  • IRB familiarity preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve independently.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that display effective and professional customer service skills and interactions.
  • Ability to travel to various locations as required for performance of job role.

Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, hazardous materials, radiation, radio nucleotides, medicinal preparations, body fluids, and other conditions common to the healthcare environment.
