Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our Med Surg/Telemetry Department. The successful candidate will assist with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and maintain a safe environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse in charge.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients
  • Provide basic nursing care, including vital sign measurements and wound care
  • Assist with maintaining a safe environment, including cleaning and restocking supplies
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate preferred
  • Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Minimum six months' previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred
