Respiratory Therapist, Emergency Department

Position Information:
The Respiratory Therapist in the Respiratory Care Services department is responsible for administering respiratory care under a physician's order, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, advanced airway management, arterial puncture and analysis, ECGs, and mechanical ventilation of adult/geriatric patients.
The Therapist plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of therapy, communicating with the physician and healthcare team. They understand the needs of the organization and support the mission, vision, and values in patient care management.Requirements:
1. Clinical experience in Respiratory Therapy and Emergency/Trauma, preferred. 2. Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, required. 3. Registered Respiratory Therapist, NC Respiratory Care Practitioner, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications, required within 30 days of hire.
Work Schedule:
7pm-7am, with as-needed weekend requirements and call responsibilities.
