Position Overview
We are seeking a Full-Time Human Resources Business Partner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to management on various HR matters, including employee relations, leave management, talent assessments, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with all HR-related legal requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with management to develop programs that align with Hoya's corporate values.
- Conduct training sessions for lab leaders and staff to enhance HR knowledge.
- Stay updated on changes in HR regulations at all levels.
- Participate in employee coaching and disciplinary processes, including terminations.
- Facilitate the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
- Manage employee benefits enrollment and address ongoing inquiries.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to inform leadership.
- Oversee worker's compensation administration and coordinate with third-party leave administrators.
- Support various HR projects and administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in business or human resources, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of direct experience in Human Resources is required.
- PHR or SPHR certification is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
