Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Science Liaison for Ophthalmology to join our team. This vital role will focus on establishing, developing, and maintaining relationships with key experts and clinicians throughout the US. You will play a crucial part in our efforts to deliver innovative treatments for rare diseases.
Responsibilities
This challenging position involves networking with medical thought leaders, academic institutions, and healthcare professionals to align with our commercial goals. You will be responsible for:
* Understanding and effectively communicating scientific information about our products to the medical community and other key stakeholders
* Identifying potential new speakers and training them on scientific content for sponsored external speaker programs
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and address customer needs
* Participating in national and regional conferences, meetings, and other scientific venues to maintain relationships with key investigators and stay up-to-date on clinical trends
* Evaluating potential external clinical research collaboration opportunities and facilitating the conduct of investigator-initiated trials and company-sponsored trials
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have a Doctorate degree and 2 years of Medical Affairs experience, or equivalent qualifications. We also seek candidates with exceptional communication skills, ability to learn new business applications, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $100,000-$140,000, depending on location and experience.
