Job Title: Business and Technology Adjunct

We are seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach Business and Technology courses at Olympic College. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to student-centered learning.

Job Summary:

The Business and Technology Adjunct will teach courses in Accounting Technology, Business Correspondence, Business English, and MS Office Suite Technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business education and experience teaching in a variety of formats, including face-to-face, hybrid, hyflex, or online.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Business and Technology courses in accordance with the college catalog and departmental guidelines.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse student populations.
  • Provide clear and punctual communication with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Maintain accurate and complete course and student records.
  • Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business education, computer applications, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Successful teaching or professional experience.
  • Proficient with the technology necessary to teach online or partially online courses and the ability to learn and use instructional technology such as CANVAS.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's college degree or equivalent in business or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years of successful college teaching experience.
  • Competency-based curriculum development experience.
