Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Business Management Adjunct Faculty member to join our team at Olympic College. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching Business Management courses in accordance with the college catalog and departmental guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Business Management courses, including E-Business Strategies, Business Math, Human Resources, International Business, E-Business, Financial Planning, Leadership & Management, and Small Business Management and Planning.
  • Develop and maintain a syllabus for each course, including course objectives, outcomes, and assessment methods.
  • Provide high-quality instruction, including lectures, discussions, and assignments, to ensure student learning and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate and complete course and student records, including grades and attendance.
  • Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff, including responding to emails and phone calls in a timely manner.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Successful teaching or professional experience in social media marketing instruction or consulting.
  • Proficient with technology necessary to teach online or partially online courses, including Canvas and other instructional tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years of successful college teaching experience, including social media marketing.
  • Competency-based curriculum development experience.
