Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee large and/or intricate projects.
  • Coordinate all project efforts, both administrative and technical, to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution.
  • Act as the primary liaison with clients to ensure project completion on time, within budget, and with optimal client satisfaction.
  • Develop and present the technical perspective on assigned projects, ensuring alignment with program and design.
  • Collaborate closely with project designers and managers in planning and executing all work processes.
  • Establish and implement internal controls for all team members involved in a project.
  • Monitor and supervise the development of contract documents.
  • Promote the adoption and enforcement of BIM and design technology standards, best practices, and workflows.
  • Oversee coordination with sub-consultants to implement quality assurance and quality control measures.
  • Manage project work planning and scheduling.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on large-scale architectural projects.
  • Foster firm culture both internally and externally.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of technical and delivery standards across the practice.
  • Engage in market sector leadership initiatives and attend industry conferences to represent the firm.
  • Mentor junior to mid-career staff and provide input on recruitment, development, and retention strategies.
  • Coordinate schedules and approve timecards while aiding in establishing employee objectives and providing constructive feedback.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Registered Architect (RA).

Preferred Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
  • Experience in computational design or other emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Familiarity with architectural products and systems, building codes, and current accessibility and sustainability standards.
