Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our team at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage clinical trials, including patient recruitment, informed consent, and data collection
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines
  • Provide excellent patient care, including education and support
  • Collaborate with research teams, including principal investigators, research nurses, and other clinical trial coordinators
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient files and study documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as health sciences or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in clinical trials or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including GCP and IRB guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems
  • Knowledge of clinical trial management software
