Job Title: Clinical Trials Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Trials Manager to join our team at Mount Sinai Health System. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing multiple clinical trial projects and protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and good clinical practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage clinical trial projects and protocols, including federally funded studies, investigator-initiated studies, and pharmaceutical company-sponsored trials.
  • Provide administrative oversight and guidance to staff regarding staff roles and regulatory submissions for each study.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for administrative oversight of clinical trials.
  • Conduct regular meetings with staff to ensure compliance with established practices and to keep employees abreast of current standards and policies.
  • Manage and monitor all sites involved in multi-site clinical trials, including recruitment and management of subject enrollment.
  • Assist with grant submissions and implement standard operating procedures for clinical monitoring.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff and orient and mentor new research team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Public Health, or related scientific/health field; Master's preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience managing clinical trials, including 2 years in a management/leadership role.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical research concepts, good clinical practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to provide scientific and clinical expertise in all phases of clinical trials.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
