We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lift Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Camelback Lodge. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our chairlifts and other transportation equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Schedule Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of chairlifts, conveyor systems, and other transportation equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all maintenance and inspections are completed and documented in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead a Team: Supervise and train a team of maintenance technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Responsible for maintaining, ordering, and inventorying all parts and supplies for the Lift Maintenance Department.
- Operate Heavy Equipment: Operate vehicles and heavy equipment as needed to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure Safety: Ensure all work is completed in a safe and quality manner, and that all staff are using proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Document and Record Keeping: Complete all log sheets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in ski lift maintenance, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills are required.
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of chairlift electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems is required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work at great physical heights, in all types of weather conditions, day or night. Must be able to utilize ANSI-rated harnesses that accommodate weights of 130-310 pounds.
- Language Skills: Must be able to speak and read the English language, with additional languages a plus.
