Job Title: Wastewater Treatment Plant Attendant

Department:Mountain Operations / Grounds

Reports to: Director of Mountain Operations

The Wastewater Treatment Plant Attendant will monitor Operations of all wastewater facilities owned by the Company.

  • Monitor Operations of all wastewater facilities owned by the Company.
  • Conduct testing and analysis required for proper operation and reporting for the facilities. All functions shall follow regulatory permits.
  • Operate plant in full compliance with regulatory permits.
  • Assist with on call responsibilities during the work week and weekends including answering alarm calls and reporting to the facility as necessary to diagnose and address the cause of the alarms Monday through Sunday. Must be available 24 hours a day to respond to plant and system problems.
  • Record on plant logs, spreadsheets and electronically all required test results, measurements, equipment readings and observations as specified and/or required by permits, standard operating procedures and as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Maintain facility records, prints, equipment manufacture manuals as well as all operating data.
  • Maintain grounds, buildings, and infrastructure of Wastewater Treatment Areas.
Is this the job for me:
  • Position requires good mechanical skills as required in the repair/replacement of all plant equipment, including but not limited to pumps, motors, instruments, chemical feed equipment, etc.
  • Must be able to make mathematical calculations to determine chemical doses required for flow rates and proper treatment.
  • Must be able to traverse steep terrain, Lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds with no assistance.
  • Must have general maintenance skills to maintain buildings and grounds including but not limited to grass cutting and trimming, brush cutting, painting, woodwork, etc.
  • Required to meet and follow all safety requirements dealing with hazardous chemical handling and PPE requirements.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests.
  • Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.
  • Over the age of 18
  • Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.
