About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced A&P Mechanic to join our team at HQ Aero Management Inc. As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of aircraft, powerplants, and related articles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft components.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and manufacturer's instructions.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to complete tasks and projects.
  • Document maintenance activities and record-keeping.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Maintenance Manager.
Requirements
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Criminal Background checks & Compliant with FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift or carry 75 lbs.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in various climates and weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
  • Comfortable with/on ladders, work stands, and various heights.
Essential Job Functions
  • Have good communication skills, read and write the English language.
  • Possess the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to comply with company and regulatory rules and regulations.
  • Hand tools, specialized manufacturers tools, diagnostic, measuring, and analyzing equipment.
  • Use of aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
  • Requires flexible and analytical thinking and outstanding organizational skills.
  • Sound judgment and objectivity in decision-making are essential.
  • Must be comfortable in making firm decisions relative to safety in all situations.
  • Good attention to detail is a must.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
