Job Summary:
In the esteemed Lynn Public Schools, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behavioral Technician to join our team. This role is an ideal opportunity for individuals passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with autism spectrum disorders and behavioral challenges.

About the Role:
As a Behavioral Technician, you will be responsible for implementing behavior support plans designed by our experienced behavior specialists. You will work closely with students, teachers, and other staff members to create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes individual academic and personal growth. Your excellent communication skills and experience in ABA programs will enable you to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist behavior specialists in developing materials for classroom organization, scheduling, and behavior management.
  • Model and provide classroom support in the use of ABA strategies, discrete trials, and data collection.
  • Assist IEP team members in data collection and graphing of data.
  • Collaborate with behavior specialists to prepare training for teachers, related service providers, and paraprofessionals during professional development opportunities.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in ABA, excellent communication skills, and experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders and behavioral challenges. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing circumstances. The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
