Position Summary

Join our team as an Event Catering Specialist and enhance the guest experience at our catered events. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing outstanding food and service to guests, ensuring their events are memorable.

  • Deliver friendly and courteous service to guests at all times.
  • Present menus and daily specials; respond to guest inquiries regarding menu items.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring timely service and correct dish placement.
  • Serve food and beverages at scheduled events under the guidance of the catering captain.
  • Set up and serve at various functions.
  • Retrieve food orders from the kitchen, ensuring accuracy in items and presentation.
  • Communicate any special requests or modifications to the appropriate staff.
  • Prepare guest checks and process payments.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the event area during and after events.
  • Assemble and deliver all food and supplies to their designated locations.
  • Monitor and log food temperatures.
  • Arrange tables and decorations as needed.
  • Set up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
  • Return unused food and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the catering facility and equipment.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu and available products.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compliance with all safety and sanitation requirements.
  • Valid food handler card and/or alcohol certification may be necessary.
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to ascend and descend stairs regularly.
  • Frequent standing and walking are required.
