Assistant General Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Ampler Chicken. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing daily restaurant operations, and leading a team of hourly employees.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Experience

  • Develop and maintain a service environment that exceeds guest expectations.
  • Ensure all guests receive a "brand right" experience.
  • Communicate with guests to obtain feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Resolve guest complaints in a prompt and professional manner.

2. Brand Standards, Cleanliness, and Safety

  • Monitor and maintain brand standards for food preparation and presentation.
  • Ensure all menu products are prepared and served according to standard procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.
  • Ensure all tasks are accomplished in a safe manner.

3. Team Development

  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring hourly team members.
  • Partner with the RGM to conduct training modules for specific positions.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to develop skills and work habits.

4. Communication and Teamwork

  • Communicate effectively with team members, guests, and management.
  • Assign job duties to team members and ensure successful completion of all assignments.
  • Provide feedback to team members on job expectations and standards.

5. Financial Management

  • Assist in preparing weekly staffing plans.
  • Monitor compliance to schedules and attendance to maintain proper service levels.
  • Analyze key operating reports and provide recommendations to the RGM.

Requirements:

  1. Must be 18 years old.
  2. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  3. Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  4. Must possess a valid driver's license, access to an automobile during shifts, and proof of vehicle insurance.
  5. Must pass a background check.
  6. Must have access to a telephone 24 hours a day.
  7. Must be available to work a minimum schedule of 50-55 hours per week including weekends and holidays.
  8. May be required to work temporarily at other restaurant locations.
  9. Must have 1 year of supervisory experience in the restaurant industry, AA degree preferred.
