At FutureCare, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Administrative Assistant Social Services to join our team. As a key member of our Social Services department, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents and families by providing exceptional administrative support.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of residents within the facility.
  • Provide information and answer questions about benefits available to residents.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Social Work to identify needs and determine the best ways to overcome difficulties with resources available to our residents.
  • Review and submit reports regarding any problems as required.
  • Coordinate with family members to schedule admissions and/or discharge planning for residents.
  • Conduct interviews with family members or individuals to obtain a complete family history and determine which services are appropriate and needed.
  • Manage Notice of Medicare Non-Coverage (NOMNC) claims as required.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or GED, minimum required.
  • Ability to take initiative on tasks with minimal supervision and work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Software packages, including Word, Excel, and database management.
  • Proven time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, families, and other facility staff.
