Job Summary

The Dishroom Attendant position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of glassware, tableware, utensils, and pots & pans in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role requires attention to detail, organization, and a sense of urgency to ensure that all dishes are cleaned and sanitized efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and organized dish room and work area, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are readily available.
  • Clean dishes and operate a dish machine according to established protocols.
  • Practice safety and sanitation standards at all times, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Empty trash bins and maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and Front-of-the-House staff to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Food safety certification may be required in some U.S. states.

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
