Job Summary

Omjcc is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Manager to join our team in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving service gross profit objectives, managing operations organization, and maintaining a strong client base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Redeem planned gross profit through effective management of client expectations, ensuring owner satisfaction through supervision of and instruction to assigned team of technicians and service performance.
  • Delegate and organize work of technicians based on client contracts and expectations, directing and monitoring technicians to maximize billable hours while ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of equipment, tools, and materials.
  • Interact with owners and client representatives to develop and maintain productive, long-term relationships, complete annual evaluations with clients, and support the sales team in their efforts to develop new or additional contracts with customers.
  • Make recommendations to the Operations Manager on all matters affecting service operations, analyze workforce data, budgets, client feedback, technician performance, personal observations, etc.
  • Forecast workforce, manpower, organizational changes, vehicle requirements, and actual gross profit levels, work with the service team manager and operations manager to establish guidelines to determine and assess crew size based on client base.
  • Secure customer renewal agreements with price escalations, renew at least 92% of assigned existing contract base each year, and promptly respond to notices of cancellation and attempt to salvage the client.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC service management, with a proven track record of driving service gross profit objectives and managing operations organization.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead assigned technicians, provide direction, training, and support needed to complete jobs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze workforce data, budgets, client feedback, technician performance, personal observations, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery.
