Job Summary:

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Scheduler to join our team. As a key member of our program management team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) schedule to provide the basis for the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) time phased budget and estimate to complete cost data for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply scheduling theory to develop and maintain a resource loaded IMS schedule as the basis for the EVMS in compliance with EVM standard EIA-748 and best practices as in the Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG).
  • Implement program scheduling business rhythms, developing baseline schedules and associated artifacts to meet contractual/project requirements, and monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance against baseline schedules to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule
  • Work closely with multiple industry and government performers to develop detailed schedules, keep these schedules current and seamlessly integrated into the Master Schedule.
  • Develop and maintain linkages, dependencies and inter-dependencies with related projects.
  • Ensure internal and external dependencies are documented and tracked for risk management.
  • Identify major milestones, decision points, project life-cycle and other project events.
  • Identify critical path and task dependencies.
  • Set and maintain the baseline schedule and track all changes to the baselined schedule on a weekly basis.
  • Perform 'what if' scenarios within the schedule.
  • Develop schedule version control processes, policies, and procedures and ensure they are followed during the development and maintenance of schedules.
  • Perform schedule estimating through elicitation of team members and other stakeholders to capture estimations of new work, updated actuals and remaining work.
  • Champion and support continuous Risk Mitigation and Issue Management through schedule analysis.
  • Generate schedule reports based on planned vs actual work.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of project analysis experience, which must include Earned Value Management (EVM) and Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS) experience.
  • Advanced expertise using Microsoft Project.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling theory and related best-practices (e.g., PASEG), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) architecture (e.g., WBS or IMP based).
  • Proven working knowledge of Critical Path.
  • Proven working knowledge of implementing and managing a resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) schedule to provide the basis for the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) time phased budget and estimate to complete cost Schedule Status/Forecast Management/Business Rhythms.
  • Baseline Change Control and IMS configuration management.
  • Ability to work independently with overall responsibility for the Master Schedule.
  • Proven ability to work well within a team/collaborative environment.
  • US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.
