Job Summary: Lincoln University is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor in Chemistry to teach undergraduate courses in Organic Chemistry.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach Organic Chemistry I & II and Organic Chemistry labs to undergraduate students.
- Prepare and conduct labs for students, grading lab reports and providing feedback.
- Develop and administer quizzes, tests, and exams to assess student understanding.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the department.
- Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, completed by the time of hire.
- Previous experience teaching undergraduate labs, preferably with non-chemistry major students.
- Strong commitment to teaching excellence, effective communication skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse organization, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of professional appearance and demeanor, with ability to maintain confidentiality.
The work environment is primarily a university campus setting, requiring a flexible schedule and ability to work in an inside environment with moderate lifting and physical demands.
